Why Participate in the Prevention Summit?

Local activists, practitioners and state decision makers come together annually to build and enhance their knowledge about the science and practice of community prevention services. The Prevention Summit provides an optimistic environment in which people feel empowered by opportunities for new solutions.

  • Sponsorships allow the Summit to bring nationally recognized presenters to the Northwest as well as to include fun and exciting activities in the conference schedule

Payment

  • In order to pay by credit card, the application above will accept all major credit cards.

Please make all checks payble to “Board of Regents.” (Note: Please complete the online application above as well. There is a field to note that you will be sending in a payment by check.)

Cancellation

The conference organizer must receive official cancellation from the sponsor, exhibitor, or advertising organization by October 6, 2016, to provide a full refund. If the conference organizer is notified after the cancellation date, no refund will be provided.

Policies

  • Advertisement, logo, or graphic due with application by October 11, 2016.
  • The Committee will not knowingly accept programs or publications that discriminate on the basis of ethnic group, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age and/or disability.
  • The Committee reserves the right to bar or relocate any potential exhibitor or require the immediate withdrawal of any exhibit which it believes to be injurious to the purposes of the Prevention Summit.
  • CASAT reserves the right, as necessary, to make modifications to the exhibit space to meet the needs of the Fire Marshall, exhibitors, or exhibit program.
  • Assignment of space will be based on the date of receipt of application, as well as size and utility requirements. Assignment of space is final. Assignment space may be revoked or changed at any time if the minimum payment is not received. If the exhibitor’s application is revoked or not accepted by CASAT, the exhibitor will be promptly refunded.
  • Additional furniture, draping, accessories, and/or decorations are the sole responsibility of the exhibitor and should be approved in advance by CASAT. All booth equipment and accessories must follow the standards established by the Fire Marshall.
  • It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to see that all materials are delivered to the venue as well as removed by the specified deadline.
  • Insurance and liability are the full and sole responsibility of the exhibitor. The exhibitor, upon contracting to exhibit, expressly releases CASAT/UNR, any of its officers, directors, employees, or committee members, or the Board of Directors, employees, or representatives of the Yakima Convention Center from any responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur to the exhibitor or to the exhibitor’s employees or property prior to, during, or subsequent to the period covered by the exhibitor’s contract, including but not limited to any responsibility or liability for negligently caused injury, loss, or damage; and further, the exhibitor agrees to hold harmless and indemnify CASAT/UNR, and the Yakima Convention Center against any and all claims made against CASAT/UNR, and/or the Yakima Convention Center by any person and arising out of the exhibitor’s acts or omissions.
